HVAC Service Supervisor — Santa Rosa Beach / South Walton, FL

Role overview

This HVAC Service Supervisor opening supports residential field work across the service territory. The role centers on technical escalation, technician coaching, jobsite quality, work-order documentation, and keeping proven procedures consistent after the work becomes familiar—not simply solving the hardest call of the day.

What you’ll do

• Support technicians with residential HVAC diagnostics, technical escalations, and difficult customer situations.
• Coach in the field through ride-alongs, jobsite quality checks, specific feedback, and follow-up that verifies the standard continues over time.
• Review work-order notes, readings, photos, and closeout quality so open items are visible and repeat visits are addressed.
• Reinforce equipment, safety, property-protection, documentation, and worksite standards.
• Coordinate with dispatch and ownership when scope, access, schedule, customer expectations, or unresolved work needs a decision.

What you bring

• Residential HVAC field experience plus leadership, supervisory, coaching, or mentoring experience described in the application.
• A record of holding clear standards, documenting decisions, and following corrective work through after the first conversation.
• Ability to distinguish a knowledge gap from process drift, then coach, inspect, and respond consistently.
• EPA 608 status and relevant certifications described accurately in the application.

Preferred experience

Experience with residential HVAC diagnostics, heat pumps, planned maintenance, technician coaching, quality assurance, callback reduction, documentation review, and customer escalation is useful. No minimum experience or required certification set is published until owner-approved.

Compensation, schedule, and benefits

Base pay of $32–$40/hour plus 5% commission on sales. Working field leadership role (~70% field technical coaching and quality checks, 30% shop and dispatch coordination). Assigned take-home company vehicle with fuel card and steady year-round coastal operations. Please note: Traditional group health insurance and retirement plans are not offered.

Service area and work environment

The supervisor supports residential field work across Santa Rosa Beach, South Walton, 30A, and the surrounding service territory. Service personnel take assigned trucks home, allowing field coverage to be distributed across the communities served; candidates living in or near Santa Rosa Beach or elsewhere within a practical response range are encouraged to apply. The Freeport facility serves as the shop, supply, and touchdown base—not a residency boundary. The territory includes coastal humidity and salt-air conditions and may include primary homes, second homes, and vacation-rental properties.
